Check the classifieds at this site..............

http://www.republicanherald.com/

BTW, don't count on major appliances being furnished, ie fridge, range. It's a subtle maneuver to filter out the riffraff.

I've been checking the Standard Speaker on line. It uses the same ads as the Republican Herald as far as I can tell, but I'll start checking both.

We are selling our house so I can bring a frig, washer, dryer etc. Just can't take the stove out of the house since it always goes with the sale, most of the time. Thanks for the heads up.

So, Chris.

Did you move to any of the above mentioned communities?

Hope all is well and good.

Yes, we finally got a 1/2 double in Shenandoah in mid-December. But only for a year....will probably look to move to a different place...hopefully Ringtown by next December. Hubby still looking for work but at least we made it up here.

That's great you found something. And, Shenandoah has a lot of good events coming up for spring, summer and fall.

Get involved....the town could use some good volunteers to help bring the town back to some "good news" for a change.

I visit Shenandoah often and I also volunteer there, too.

Ringtown is great, I have a lot of friends there who love living in Ringtown.

I hope your hubby gets a job very soon. Has he tried in Fogelsville? There are many warehouses in that area, huge complexes. I know it may be a bit of a trek for him daily but it may be worth it in the long run. There are a number of people from Shenandoah/Ringtown who make the trip daily to Fogelsville.

I wish Schuylkill County could bring in more industry, businesses. It's all in Berks County at the southern end. (Hazleton, Wilkes-Barre at the northern end). We have to travel to Berks for all the big stuff because they just don't have it in Schuylkill County. That breaks my heart.
